The early stages of Kelly & Ceon's Wedding
Still excited about the Proposal, Kelly and Ceon began the task of choosing where and when their wedding would take place. Kelly's Mom was born in Jamaica, where she herself always wanted to visit. With both Kelly and Ceon being of Caribbean parentage, Jamaica quickly became an option.
It was decided; the couple both confirmed that Jamaica would be a great location; "somewhere warm and fun where all the family could get together" as Kelly describes.
They proceeded to contact Certified Wedding Planner Nichelle Thompson from Designs By Nishy. Nishy had the task of locating the ideal wedding venue to be the backdrop for their glamorous wedding and to begin planning their BIG DAY.
The wedding was to be held at Laughing Waters, a popular wedding venue located in Ocho Rios on November 5th 2016.

Let the Celebrations begin!
The couple and their guests stayed at the nearby Riu Ocho Rios, which marked the commencement of many fun activities. The festivities kicked off with a Private Sunset Cruise for Kelly, Ceon and 110 of their guests, courtesy of Island Routes, one of Jamaica’s premier excursion companies.
The Wedding Day was nothing short of a Dream!
The Bride wore a stunning Provonia mermaid gown with lace appliqués and sheer illusion bodice; finished with a lace detailed cathedral veil.
The Bridesmaids were adorned in blush v-neck gowns accentuated with jewel embellishments.
The Bridal bouquet was an enormous arrangement of white hydrangeas, white O'hara garden roses and sweet avalanche pink roses.
The Bridesmaids carried cream rose bouquets contrasted by a hint of greenery.
The Mothers wore beaded wrist corsages accented with jewel embellishments and fabric flowers.

The Groom's Royal Blue suit was custom designed and tailored to perfection, while his Groomsmen wore Calvin Klein suits.
The Ceremony was held on the lush lawns overlooking the cascading waterfall that meandered into the crystal clear ocean. It was elegantly decorated in crisp white, delicately accented with hints of blush pink and gold, where Kelly and Ceon exchanged with own vows at sunset.
The Reception took place under a white draped tent with soft uplighting and crystal chandeliers. Tables were decorated in splendour with sparkly rose gold sequin table linens and gold charger plates. The white fabric draping woven through gold chiavari chairs, crisp white napkins, floral arrangements of white, blush pink and light green touches and vases with floating candles brought that romantic ambiance to the reception; all provided by Designs By Nishy.
The Wedding programs and seating charts were elegantly designed using gold-foiled prints with modern floral patterns.
Danya Ho of Fine Ideas provided a 3 tier vanilla cake with strawberry filling that was decorated with cornelli lace and sugar flowers. Additionally, a dessert spread was included with an assortment of truffles, brownies, cheesecakes and tarts to satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth.
Once the dinner and toasts were concluded, DJ Arif "SupaCoop" Cooper of RJR’s Fame 95 FM kept guests dancing the entire night with a classy collection of old and new hits!
Complete with a confetti launch and fogged dance floor - this wasn't just "dancing after the reception"; this was a REAL PARTY!

The couple capped of their time in Jamaica by enjoying all that Ocho Rios had to offer.
